Smoking Gun
Well, where was her extravagant greeting? Gunny snorted, then sighed. The weather was turning and her coat wasn't heavy enough yet, causing her to be a tad more irritated than usual. Placing her heavy dagger to the ground, she plotted forward, seeking the painted figure of that mysterious stranger she had met in the rain one stormy night. Rising Storm, it was fitting for the day they had met. Well, Gunny was glad it wasn't raining now. Way too cold for that. If it rained now, she would be one unhappy camper out here, especially since she hadn't found Storm yet. He said he had a terra, didn't he? She thought he did. But where the hell was it? She sighed again. Please, please, please, no rain, no snow, no sleet. Then a thought occurred to her. Why not call? Well, that's a brilliant idea. Gunny chuckled to herself, then let out a low call, trying to gain Storm's attention. Hopefully, this would work.

Rising Storm stood silently within the dark depths of his terra, a sea of towering trees that he called Yoshpet. The stallion's icy orbs surveyed the canopy above, his gaze slowly moving back and forth. The leaves were slowly turning, fading from lush green to bright oranges, reds, and yellows. Soon his forest would be completely ablaze with the colors of fiery autumn.
The stallion was suddenly torn from his thoughts when he heard a call. With harks leaning forward, his visage turned toward the direction of the sound. Curiosity and a sense of responsibility pulled him from where he stood and told him to go investigate. It was his duty, after all, now that he was King. Pivoting his body toward the noise, Storm shifted his weight to his hindquarters and took off with a giant leap. It was easy for him to navigate through the dense woods, for he knew where every stream and log to jump lay, and where each rock and tree that required dodging rest. Nearing the edge of his territory, the painted stag slid to a stop, thundering daggers tearing into the muddy earth. Almost instantly, he caught a familiar scent and knew he was close. He walked a short distance, weaving through the trees with careful eyes. Soon enough, he saw her... A smile bloomed on Storm's maw when he realized who it was. Smoking Gun... The pretty fae that he'd met that rainy day not so long ago. He wasn't sure if she would ever show up, but he had hoped that she would. And here she was, and he was glad to see her. A light nicker escaped his vocal cords as he approached her, telling her of his presence if she hadn't already noticed him. "Smoking Gun... Words cannot express how happy I am to see you." He greeted her, his grin still lingered on his maw.

The thudding of daggers on soft ground caused Gunny to raise her head, seeking the source and sincerely hoping that it was Storm, not some random stag she didn't happen to know. And, to her great relief, it was. The handsome, dark hued stag came quite quickly to her side, and without meaning to, she smiled at him and his words as he greeted her. A laugh escaped her lips at his words. He was enraptured and she had no idea why. Not like she was very extraordinary, but he seemed to think so. Odd duck. I don't see what the big deal is, really. And where else was I supposed to go? I would rather be here with you than any place else. He smile grew a little broader at her words, knowing that had abit of a deeper meaning. On her little journey to this place, she had thought over her encounter with Rising Storm, debating whether or not she really wanted to go to this Yoshpet place. But she did, she knew it, and she couldn't deny it to herself. He had intrigued her, piqued her interest and wanted to know him better, be with him. Love? Certainly not though, not yet at least. She had just met him, and he was certainly handsome, which also concerned her. Why would a handsome stag be kind and welcoming to her, a plain common fae? But she wasn't going to question it unless she was given a reason to question. Gunny enjoyed the attention. Looking across the land, for a short moment, she looked back at Storm, and another smile crept across her lips. Well, oh lord, are you going to show me around my new home, or should I just figure it out for myself? she asked teasingly, reaching forward to butt her head against his shoulder in a playful gesture before waiting for his response.

The mottled stag's grin grew even wider as he heard her laugh at him and his orbs took in her radiant smile. Instead of greeting him with a simple hello or something typical, Gunny skipped all of that nonsense completely, which actually pleased Rising Storm more than if she had. He couldn't quite put his hoof on why that was so, but it just did. He noticed the small change in her smile, but didn't realize what hid behind it. He was just so explicitly glad that she had found him that he just couldn't contain his smile. Instead of replying to her different approach to a greeting, he just stood there grinning at her, and probably looking like quite a fool. It wasn't until she spoke again that he noticed what he was doing. She then preceded to headbutt his shoulder. "Uuh..." He muttered, still recovering from his stupid one-sided staring contest. "...WELL, if you're going to be so pushy, then you can figure it out on your own!" His voice suddenly took on an offended tone, which also showed through to his face. But he could only hold this for a second or two before he smirked playfully at her and gave away his joke. Storm didn't know how Gunny would respond to him, but he was sure it would be interesting.
(hehe. feeling playful and devious at the moment. xD)

A grin crossed her lips as he responded. A little fun was what she was in the mood for. And why not try to be a bit flirty while she was at it? Gunny strode past Storm with a haughty air, flicking him with her banner as she passed, nose in the air. Well then. If that's how it's going to be, I don't see why I shouldn't just leave right now. With that, she began to walk away. But she couldn't keep up the farce for long, despite her intentions. Circling close, she reached out to nip him once more. With a cheery laugh, Gunny took off, muscles bunching and stretching beneath her shining hide. She went only a short distance before sliding to a halt, rolling up turf and she rose on her hinds, pawing the air playfully before falling back to earth. There she waited, dancing in place, locks falling in front of her eerily vibrant amber eyes. She had never really been the flirty, playful kind when it came to stags, but something about Storm was relaxing and enticing at the same time. It thrummed through her veins, and left her mind clear. For which she was thankful, because when she was confronted with stags, especially handsome ones, she was liable to stutter or stumble over her words. Irritating, but with Storm, she was completely comfortable, words not fighting one another to spill too fast from her maw. A smile flashed across her lips as she gazed at the painted brujo yonder, waiting for him to join her so she could tear across the land, her body itching with happy energy, pulling at her limbs to begin movement. But Gunny restrained, awaiting her escort, if he would ever move his rump to her.
