General

-- We take beginners to advanced rpers, but please, at least a paragraph (5 sentences) each post.
-- Be respectful to other members and staff alike, don't back talk to any staff member. This includes fighting OOC, both rule breakers will be dealt with accordingly.

Pictures
-- DO NOT use images from Google. We will check.
-- All images must have credits on them, and the images used must be stock [we really don't want this place shut down]

Creating a Character
-- Each member is allowed only one account, with their multiple characters under that account.
-- There is no limit on number of characters, just make sure to keep the characters active.
-- Try to keep your horses height realistic to its breed however we will not to be to strict on this. Administrators WILL change your horse's height without your notification if you exceed abundantly on the limit.
-- Don't use similar names as another horse.
Claiming/Adopting
-- Both mares and stallions can claim lands at the age of three, while foals cannot with an exception to the foal herd
-- When claiming a land, feel free to change the title and description. Post both in your claiming post, and a staff member will take care of it
-- Mares and stallions can only claim lands of their alliance and none other. The only exception to this is that of the Leira herds where alliance is null and void.
-- Stallions can claim mares while mares can ask others to join them
-- Both mares and stallions can adopt foals
-- A person may only claim three lands TOTAL
-- A person may only have one royal horse. (Exception: if mare/stallion is chosen mate of a royal, it is then allowed to have more than one royal horse character but please don't try to woo every royal for a royal spot!!)
Stealing
-- Steals are posted as a poem or riddle, though they do not have to rhyme. The steal must in some way, shape, or form coincide with the mare or foal being stolen. The steal then lasts three days.
-- A character cannot be re-stolen until five days after the original steal ended.
-- Lead may block anyone in the herd, Beta's may only block the members that they claim theirs.
-- You may only block one equine a day.
-- The day the steal is posted counts as day one.
-- If the steal isn't solved in three days, then the mare or foal belongs to the stealer.
Breeding/Birthing
-- Your character must be at least three years of age in order to breed.
-- All foals are placed in the 'unknown' alliance and must remain as such until they turn two years of age when they must choose their alliance. The choices are --- Light, Neutral, or Dark.
-- Graphic breeding and birthing is allowed, but put * in the title.
-- Breeding and birthing of same alliance parents (ie-light stallion/light mare) can be done in the Realm's chosen birthing copse, though they do not have to if they do not desire to. Any mixed alliance breeding and birthing (ie-Dark stallion/Light Mare) must be done away from alliance lands as per Reia Law.
-- Birthing occurs in all months, breeding occurs during the spring and summer
-- Mares can birth anytime after breeding, there is no waiting period to take but can be chosen to wait if the member desires to do so.
-- Both parents' stats must be posted in order to receive foal stats.
-- Once you name your foal you must post its stats in the joining board.
-- Lead stallions have breeding rights to all the mares in their herd.
-- Neutral and Dark stallions can forcebreed any mare left alone.
-- Light stallions cannot forcebreed! Any Light stallion found forcebreeding will be subject to banishment from the light lands and seen as a rogue to the light alliance.
-- Mares may only be bred once every season.

-- In the event of a disagreement between said staff members, a third will read over the fight, and post their judgment.
-- Within the first couple of posts, please decide how many posts each rper has.
-- The first day a fight post is posted is day one. The challenged has three days to reply, otherwise they forfeit.
-- The winner may not be challenged for one week.
-- Fights can be called over lands of similar alliance, over brood mares, or over foals. It cannot be over free standing stallions over the age of 3 years old.
Phantoms
-- Phantoms on this site are creatures of a second veil, horses of the site that have made a major impact in their living thus continued on as ghosts to help the living.
-- Phantoms get along in death, no matter the alliance.
-- Not every horse will become a phantom. If you would like one of yours to become one, please seek out one of the admins and request that your horse become a phantom, and the staff will discuss it.
-- Phantoms take on a more physical form in Evening Glen, their home land. Outside of the Evening Glen, they cannot be seen. They may have a companion in death.
Banishment
-- If you do something wrong, IC, and as deemed by other characters within you're alliance, you can be banished.
-- If you think you were wrongfully banished, you may appeal to someone of a higher status to get your banishment overturned.
-- This goes by hierarchal standing: Leads can banish, but can be overruled by lords, ladies, kings, and queens. Lords and ladies are overruled by kings and queens, and nobody overrules the kings and queens.
-- If banished, you will reside in Leira's Terra until further judgment is brought about by your own lead, lord or lady, king or queen.
-- If a lead wishes to banish the other lead, they must seek out a lord, lady, king or queen for this to happen with a solid reason. If a lord or lady wishes to banish the other, they must seek out the king or queen.
-- At second judgment, if the banished is seen as unfit to return to the herd they will be permanently disbanded and dropped from the alliance. Alliance drop is as follows:
Light Banishment - dropped to the Neutrals
Neutral Banishment - dropped to the Darks
Dark Banishment - Rogue to all alliances, warrant for death upon said banished member by any alliance.
