Leaves are falling off the trees, the weather is cooling down, and the herds are preparing for winter. Rains and showers are frequent, as are strong winds and the occasional half-hour of snow.
Aptly named, The Pit is the residence of the dark king and his minions. Formed by a plunging meteor, this 'hole in the ground' is as close to hell as you can get. The screams of the dead and dying echo within these walls, raising the hair on one's nape. Here you may encounter your worst nightmares. Your deepest fears. Here the inhabitants feed on the souls of all that is light. Here demise truly sits on the throne. Welcome to hell on earth.
Rough scrawny trees mark the entrance of the Woods inside them the colors of are darker hues. Leaves are all different shades the moon can be seen through the bare canopies in the trees. A dirt pounded path leads the way but dare you enter it? What lies beyond the surface? Inside it is deathly quiet, a few rolling hills here and there dotted with trees. In the middle of them is a clearing where the herd comes to gather
