Leaves are falling off the trees, the weather is cooling down, and the herds are preparing for winter. Rains and showers are frequent, as are strong winds and the occasional half-hour of snow.
The darkest of mares come here on their estrus to seek out the accompaniment of their chosen mate or perhaps simply to scratch that itch that needs scratching. forcebreeding can occur here but is rare, the mares are just as vicious and as likely to kill as the males. It is simple, nothing to focus on but the others who are regulating this terra...
To all those who desire and breed to only the darkness these lands are meant to protect and serve in ways of the shadows. Mares come here to give birth to any foals bred to parents solely serving the dark and no others. It is well sheltered and devoid of anything that would disturb the venomous fae who deliver here.
Simply as the name describes, for this is where all the darks come to die. It is dramatic, a cliffside high above a layer of jagged sharp rocks. Those below leave their remnants behind for those of their comrades of the living to remember.
