[color=darkred]I can never be tamed, those who try only die in the end. All their efforts laid in waste....
Curious at who I am? Well, I tell you. I'm Diru. I'm often known as a b*tch and just a pain in the arse. Not my fault others can't handle my personality. A loud snort escaped my flared nares as my limbs moved forward at a steady walk. It'd been a long time since I'd been here. A few years by my reckoning. Only a few months before my son had been born. I snorted louder than before, harks flattening against my skull. And now my true love was gone, my son gone, and to make matters even worse, and me grumpier, the sire of my foal had disappeared. He was the only other creature in existence I even bothered to check in on, or with. I shook my finely dished profile vigrously as I strayed to a halt. Ebony banner flicked over my haunches and I almost wished that I was season, I wanted to see the stallion flock around me and then run in fear. My honey brown orbs danced in merriment as flashes of my ideas formed in my mind's eye. With a gentle snort and stomp of a forehoof I chased them away. Why focus on fantasy when I could have the real thing? I shook my frame fiercely so that some dust flew around and afterwards my dark, storm colored pelt glinted dully in the twilight. What?! It's twilight time already? Crap, no stallion will be able to see me. Then again, I have a voice and a scent. Maybe it'll weed out the weaker of the stallions? I won't take a weak stallion. I shifted slightly before opening my maw and releasing a scream that could have awoken the dead had I been in or near a graveyard. I sidled a few steps sideways, flicking my forelock down to cover my bright orbs so none could see my plans....
I bet I'll have to wait a long time....my reputation has probably preceded me now since I've been here for a few years, oh well. If it has then only the stallions I want to know will make themselves known to me.

Irons scraped the lush emeralds as he moved at a walking gait, grassed tugged softly at his crimson feathers it disgusted him so he trudging up the annoying vegitation. Dial shot up from the place of his attention he took in the scents now perhaps there was some light swine about ambers scanned the field at this thought. His crimson tipped auds twitched and turned now listening to the surroundings, ebony pelt shivered with demonic glee someone else was here and he could smell who ever it was. Loud snort sounded from him then he shook his ebony mane that was tipped dark crimson, amber pools scanned once more. Whoever it was it was definately a mare this made him smirk for merely a minute then his face went blank again un-readable, sniffer leading his way instead of his eyes which occasionally scanned the areas that were lit.

Of course I'm a mare you twit. What stallion would just stand here? Imbecile.
My slim harks flicked around, listening for everything around me. Nothing was meeting my gaze or hearing. I snorted, growing agitated. Did everyone know to avoid the dark grey arabian mare? Gah! My weight shifted as I sidled sideways, tossing my dial high, wanting to give vent to another scream but my maw stayed closed and the only sounds that were given were my hooves thudding into the ground and the soft whisk of my banner over my haunches. And then I heard the hoof-beats of another. I stayed my hooves as my orbs sought out the form of the other. I saw movement before the actual horse took form, but that didn't stop me. I moved forward in a flash, limbs moving into a beautiful trot towards the stallion. What mare would dare even try to talk to me? I flicked my harks backwards and curled my upper lip slightly as I altered my path and take me around the stallion. "So what do we have here?" I asked calmly, slowing to a halt after a couple circles of the stallion. I was not impressed. Of course it was impossible to impress me most of the time....
Time for test number one. Can he deal with an aggressive mare? My bet is no.....

Audits flicked then his whip flicked snappily as she circled around him his amber pools watching the smaller horse move, then listened as she spoke "So what do we have here?" he heard her say then he was still a dramatic pause "Dark Duke Halloween and who would I be addressing?" he replied in deep masculine tones. From what he gathered from her at this moment she seemed to think she was top dog the way she carried herself, like a royal jewel in a treasure trove. He snorted then blinked a few times before saying "Not very suttle are you? So let me guess dark." he said in slighty dull and unexcited tones the only time he showed real emotions was when he caused pain to others how amusing and satisfying it was giving him vigor even a spring in his step to go as far as even a smile. The perfect mate for him would be a massacist someone to abuse and torture that would like it but he partically wondered if it would fuel him or put him out, so far he had yet to find a mare like that and he highly doubted this one was it as she had a taunting tone to her words.

You're right, I don't like pain, and if you even try to harm my body I will rip off your ears and any other bits that fit into my maw.
I eyed the stallion sharply as I waited for his reaction to my unprovoked aggression. I almost wished that he would attack me, because then I would have an excuse to harm him. Oh well. I sighed, flicking my harks backwards when he asked for my name. "The full-title nobody gets, but I supposse you could call me Diru." I said, shrugging slightly. I was offended when he asked if I was dark. My upper lip curled over my ivories. I wanted to whirl and lash out with my hinds. Teach him a lesson, even if he claimed to be a noble horse. A duke? Bah, I'd been a princess in my herd. I watched him calmly. "You're rather boring." I said calmly, turning my dial away from him slightly. Almost as if ignoring him, not quite but it could look like that.
Go ahead, try and teach me a lesson. It won't work. I've had to raise an unruly colt. You say he's a well-mannered stallion? Ha! You should've seen that brat when he was young.

She seemed snappy, spunky and full of maleviolence. Harks pinned back as her harsh words hit him like a train he called back his words coated in amusement "And your still talking to me so how am I boring, why don't you give us an interesting subject then." he waited watching her frame. He snorted then looked in the other direction away from Diru then turned back she had gotten offended when he guessed she was a dark, she was sending him mixed signals that interfered with his process of out doing the glorious fox that stood before him the beautiful and forbidden fox. Ambers scanned over her frame again with some interest peaking in his mind but she was a pip a tough girl the type where it was their way or the highway. He wondered how a stag would handle a mare like this much less keep her in a herd, but with him there was no existing herd as of yet. But he would get one one way or another, he randomly asked "So what does interest you?" he listened intently.

Darn, you're starting to figure me out. That's something I just won't allow.
I stood calmly, still looking semi-away from him. My harks didn't even flick when he spoke though I heard the words clearly enough. Humph. Go on Mr. High and Mighty. I bet I can bring you done in one good hit. Don't believe me? Try me! I snorted and waited for a few moments after he'd finished speaking before letting my own lyrics flow forth. "Not my place to give out subjects now is it? I'm not going to trot around and sell myself for a home. The stallion I decide to live with had better be strong, smart, and above all, must respect me no matter what I do." Hehe, most can't live with those conditions. One did, and we had a colt. My lovely Wicked Crusade. Another had two, but no children resulted from our years together. No matter. My dial shifted to watch his reaction to my rather lengthy speech. I snorted loudly tossing my dial high. Come now. I am no damsel in distress, if anything I cause the distress that others find themselves in. Not my fault that they tick me off now is it? Even if it is I'll still blame them anyways.
You can't beat me so it's best to play my game and you might just come out unhurt.

[center][size=1]He was taken aback by her being right out blunt about what she wanted, a few moments ago she had been playing mind games. He stepped back and replied in sarcastic tones "Im not at all interested in that it's a trivial matter if you won't give it to me someone else eventually will. So im not at all worried besides im young I have plenty of time to make spawns of hell im in no hurry as the more stags there are the less mares that are out there. I haven't tryed to herd you, or whisk you away so I would say im doing so-so but that's just my opinion." he replied Ambers studied her a bit longer then looked away, he took in scents to make sure that there were no other bucks lingering about in the shadows spying waiting to pop in and steal his catch he snorted at the thought with a slight growl under his breath he turned back "What do you think? You sure you could handle Melkior Woods?" he said in a somewhat challenging tone she seemed like she was the type that enjoys challenges.

Oh darling seems I just threw you another curve ball. Bet I can do it again too. Don't think I can? Wait and see, wait and see....
I shifted calmly, eyeing the stallion calmly through my gentle orbs. Oh those eyes of mine are a blessing and a curse all at the same time. Very few horses could see past the gentleness they held, but they drew in the weaklings that I could torment to my heart's desire. The true curse? They showed my emotions well. A little too well for my own liking. Could I handle his lands? Of course I could. The question was whether I felt like it or not. Did I feel like dealing with this stallion that sought to tame me? "Of course I can handle your lands. The question is whether or not I want to deal with you any further. And so far I feel no inclination to burden myself further with your company." I said, my tone low but rather dangerous as I arched my neck slightly.
Oh dear, looks like the little mare has some bite to her still. Guess those years rotting away didn't as much harm as I figured....
